It is with profound sadness that we share the passing of our mother, Vivian June Miller (nee Foster). On July 08, 2025, Vivian was reunited with her family that has preceded her in death, including her parents, Mary and James Foster, and her seven siblings, Char, Maxine, Jane, Jim, Bev, Keith and Billy. Vivian is survived by her children, Scott (Laurie) Miller, Kim (Terry) Burke, LuAnn Duffy, Janet Miller and eight grandchildren, Amanda (Pat), Andrew, Matt (Erica), Jessica (Eric), Emily (Daniel), Kaytlyn (Scott), Kyle (Meagan), Ian, along with seven great-grandchildren, Isabella, Gordon, Cambria, Everett, Amalia, Callan, and Murphy and finally 24 loving nieces and nephews. Vivian was born in Columbus, Ohio on August 15, 1933. While she will be missed beyond words, her family is comforted in her memory and all of the precious time they had with her. For decades she could be found vacationing in Texas with her lifelong friend, Shirely Bellotte. Some of the best years of her life were spent living with her beloved sister, Beverly, in Sarasota, Florida, just minutes away from her favorite beach, Siesta Key. Vivian’s family was her greatest treasure and accomplishment. Her loss will leave an immeasurable hole in the hearts of everyone that loved her dearly. She was the definition of unconditional love and her family is incredibly grateful for her 91 years of memories. On her 90th birthday, family came from all over the United States to celebrate her at her home. Her celebration of life was a wonderful reunion to show Vivian how much she was loved and adored while she was still here with us. Surrounded by family, loved ones, and, of course, her favorite Deerfield Township Firefighters, Vivian was overwhelmed with an outpouring of love. Her wishes were to be cremated and have her ashes scattered privately. In lieu of flowers, Vivian’s family is asking that donations be made in her memory to Hospice of Cincinnati, where they gave her great comfort and respect in her final days. Harvey dedicated much of his life to the railroad, working for the C&O Railway. A proud and loyal member of the Brotherhood of Railroad Signalmen, he retired in 1965 after an impressive 48 years of service. His commitment to his trade and fellow signalman was a defining aspect of his character. A man of quiet faith, Harvey was a long-standing member of South Shore Methodist Church, where he found comfort in community and fellowship. Those who knew Harvey remember him for his gentle spirit, enduring work ethic and the way he could find joy in the simple things in life – spending time with his dogs, a good story and time spent with family. His legacy of kindness, perseverance and devotion will live on in the hearts of all who were fortunate to know him.
