Ralph Michael Miller June 25, 1958 – May 18, 2026 Ralph Michael Miller, age 67, of Pleasant Plain, Ohio, passed away peacefully on Monday, May 18, 2026. Born on June 25, 1958, Ralph lived a life marked by quiet strength, deep faith, hard work, and genuine love for his family and friends. On May 20, 1978, Ralph married the love of his life, Tena Miller. Together they built a beautiful family and shared 48 wonderful years of marriage. He is survived by his devoted wife Tena; his children Michael (Tiffany) Miller, Stephany (Nathan) Zeigler, and Matthew (Lorie) Miller; and his cherished grandchildren Faith Miller, Christian Miller, MJ Miller, and Noah Miller. He is also survived by his siblings Linda Miller-Ortlieb and Robert Miller, as well as many loving nieces, nephews, and cousins. Ralph was preceded in death by his parents, Ralph and Jewel Miller. Ralph spent the majority of his career at General Electric, where he worked in engine assembly, inspection, machining, and various other skilled roles. He took great pride in serving as a Union Steward, always advocating for his fellow workers with integrity and fairness. He retired in 2019 after a long and honorable career defined by his strong work ethic. A natural athlete from a young age, Ralph played baseball and basketball in high school and continued competing in adult softball and basketball leagues. He excelled at nearly any sport he tried and carried that competitive yet humble spirit throughout his life. He also enjoyed classic cars—especially the 1965 Mustangs— and loved a good Chevy truck. He found joy in simple pleasures and time spent with family. Those who knew Ralph will remember him as humble, honest, and moral; a man of deep wisdom and fierce intelligence who led with quiet strength. He had a wonderful sense of humor that could lighten any room and a steadfast faith that guided his life. His favorite hymns—“How Great Thou Art,” “It Is Well with My Soul,” and “The Old Rugged Cross”—and the words of the Sermon on the Mount reflected the heart of the man he was. A Celebration of Life service will be held at Elevation Community Church at a future date. In lieu of flowers, the family requests that memorial contributions be made in Ralph’s honor to Jeri Cook at Be A Light Ministries. https://www.bealightministries.org/donate Ralph leaves behind a legacy of love, faith, and faithful service. Though we grieve his passing, we rejoice knowing he has gone home to be with his Lord and Savior. He will be deeply missed by all whose lives he touched.
