James Malcolm Dare, 87, of Clarksville, OH, passed away on September 30, 2023. He was born on May 11, 1936 in Morrow Ohio. James, known as Jim, had a deep passion for the military, having served in the Army. He owned and operated Clarksville Auto Parts and was a Washington Township Trustee for 12 years, where he dedicated himself to serving his community. Jim was also a member of the Morrow Masonic Lodge. Jim was a graduate of Morrow High School. In his free time, he enjoyed hunting and playing golf, finding solace in the great outdoors. Jim's devotion to his hobbies brought him much joy throughout his life. Jim is survived by his brother, Dick Dare, as well as nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his beloved wife, Marilyn Kiphart Dare, his mother Mary Gildow Dare, his father John Dare, his sister Alma Berger, and his brothers Jack and Bill Dare. A graveside service will be held at a later date to honor Jim's life. In lieu of flowers, contributions can be made to the Clinton-Warren Joint Fire District or Hospice of South West Ohio.
