Jack Ivan Onega, 57, passed away unexpectedly on May 31, 2023, in Maineville, Ohio. He was born on September 16, 1965, in New Orleans, Louisiana, to Albert and Cheryl Onega.

Jack was a loving husband, devoted father, and a cherished friend to many. He married the love of his life Kelly on November 12, 1994, and together they raised four wonderful children: Thomas, John, Sarah, and Rachel.

Jack was a dedicated Senior Tech Project Manager at Anthem, where he made valuable contributions throughout his career. His commitment, expertise, and leadership were greatly admired by his colleagues.

Jack was full of honesty and empathy; his family meant the world to him. Jack’s kids would tell you he was the best dad ever and he was always there to provide advice or a helping hand. He loved spending time with his family and friends, often gathering at their home for hours of late night music, fun and laughs. Jack was most satisfied at golf outings, music festivals and vacations with his family.

His warm heart, genuine smile, and unwavering love will forever be remembered.

Jack was preceded in death by his father Albert.

He is survived by his loving wife Kelly and children, his mother Cheryl Onega, and his siblings David (Lori), Matthew (Celine), Rachel (Ray), as well as numerous nieces and nephews.

A celebration of Jack’s life will be on Saturday, July 29th, details will be announced shortly. Friends and family are invited to attend and share their memories.
