Obituary for Diane Reed
Diane, age 67, passed away on October 18, 2021 in Hospice Care at Brookwood Retirement Community. She is now with God.
She was born on February 23, 1954 in Cincinnati, OH to the late Wallace and Helen King Bridgeman. She spent her youth in Wyoming, OH with her parents and brothers Myron and Scott.
She graduated from Edgecliff College with a degree in Social Work. She worked for several agencies including Goodwill, Talbert House, and Easter Seals until her health challenges led to her early retirement. In retirement she spent endless hours creating personalized gifts for her cherished family and friends.
Diane had a profound faith and was a longtime member of Hyde Park Community United Methodist Church. Her circle of friends
from college and church became her family.
She has joined her family and friends who have passed on before her. She has also reunited with her beloved cat, Chloe Michelle.
And who knows, maybe Elvis greeted her with a few of her favorite songs.
A memorial service will be held on Friday November 12th at 1 PM at Hyde Park Community United Methodist Church. Memorials may be directed to Angel's Watch.
