Obituary for Tyler Jacob Gerber

Tyler Jacob Gerber, aged 30, passed away suddenly on September 28, 2021 in Cincinnati, Ohio. He is survived by his daughter Kelsey Gerber; brothers, Hunter and Bowen Contrera and Travis Gerber; parents, Wayne A. (Christina) Gerber and Missy (Greg) Contrera; grandparents, Bradley Humphrey, Deborah Gerber, and Wayne N. Gerber. He is predeceased by grandmother, Sue Humphrey (July 22, 2019).

Tyler was born on August 5, 1991 in Cleveland, Ohio to Wayne and Missy. He enjoyed racing radio-controlled cars and playing video games online. He lived in Strongsville, Ohio and worked at Preferred LLC. He was actively and passionately involved with programs like Narcotics Anonymous and Alcoholics Anonymous. He truly loved helping others. This was very apparent in his relationship with Kelsey’s half-brother Noah Baker. Kelsey and Noah were his whole world. He will be greatly missed by all those he touched in life.

A celebration of life will be held at Unity of Medina, 787 Lafayette Rd. Building D, Medina, Ohio 44256 on November 20, 2021 from 5 to 6.
