Obituary for Edith Lenora Wedmore

Edith L Wedmore passed away peacefully surrounded by her loved ones at Morris Nursing Home on the morning of September 18, 2019.

Edith Wedmore (Eplin) was born on June 22,1946 in Stone Branch, West Virginia to Cecil and Cleo Eplin (Moore). Edith is survived by 5 of her children: Her 1 and only son, Roger Farley Jr (Dawn Farley) , 4 daughters; Samantha Jefferson, Carolyn Farley, Stephanie Farley and Denise Foster (Nate Foster), 23 grandkids (11 girls & 12 boys) and 13 Great Grandkids (8 girls and 5 boys).

Edith proceeded in death by her father Cecil Eplin, her mother Cleo Eplin (Moore), her brother Raymond Eplin and her oldest daughter Tabitha Vallario.

No public service will be held. For those that knew Edith and relished in her conversation, remember the wisdom she passes to you. Her legacy is in her kids and grandkids. Edith loved being a mother as she was a mother to all those who encountered her. Lessons she taught, knowledge she passed, love and light she brought will never burn out. Edith was known to be a fighter, not because of her fight of cancer but her fight through life. She exhibited and executed strength and stamina in the face of adversities. A role model to her kids and grandchildren that she tread the path and sought shelter in her faith.
