Obituary for Larry Philip Nicely
Nicely, Larry – Passed with peace and grace on Wednesday, June 12, with his family at his side. Survived by his daughter Alyson Nicely of Fort Myers, FL; his sister Patty Wiseman and her husband Paul of Liberty Township, OH; his brother Jimmy Nicely of Sharonville, OH; his niece Shelia Davis and nephew Scott Patton; his great-nephews Jeff, Josh, and David Fleming and Nathan Patton.
Larry was born in Corbin, KY and attended Kings High School in Kings Mills, OH. Among many accomplishments throughout his life, Larry owned several businesses including Nicely Built Homes, where he built and development Shawhan Trails in Morrow, OH. He and lifelong friend Lois Walker owned and managed Pike Street Bar and Grill in Fayetteville, OH. Some of Larry’s passions were riding his Harley with friends, which included several trips to The Sturgis Motorcycle Rally in South Dakota. He loved to play guitar and enjoyed spending time with his loved ones.
The Celebration of Life for Larry Nicely will be held on August 10th, 2019 from 4:00pm to 9:00pm at 8588 Debold Koebel Rd. Morrow, OH 45152. Food and non-alcoholic drinks will be available, this is a BYOB event. The property is in a rural area so please make appropriate arrangements if you plan to drink. There is a pool and playground for the kids to have fun, we just ask that parents are present in the pool area if their kids are swimming. Below you will find a list of hotels for anyone who is traveling out of town and needs to make accommodations.
We hope that you can join us for a night of love, laughter, and memories as we look back on the incredible life Larry lived.
